An earlier draft said a plain @Autowired List of an interface with no implementations resolves to an empty list. It throws UnsatisfiedDependencyException — measured, not reasoned. Only required=false with an empty default is self-defaulting. Also: 'private final' cannot be field-injected into a class with no constructor, the commitment does not exist at the guard the placement instruction named, and the cited SERVICE_AGREEMENT line range was findServiceQuoteById.
