A mailbox held as somebody's primary is that person's address, so suggesting it as "Sales Desk" — whatever it happened to be labelled when it was provisioned — names the mailbox instead of the person. The autocomplete row and the recipient card both read the same field, so both were wrong together. The directory now takes primaryMemberName ahead of the mailbox's displayName, and assignedMemberName for a personal mailbox, whose single assignee is its owner. Aliases and shared mailboxes belong to no one in particular and keep their own name. The preference is a per-source list, so a backend that has not yet shipped the field simply falls back to displayName.
