The one @Scheduled method here, **************** populates a map held in this pod's own memory. It is supposed to run on every pod, there is nothing shared for a second replica to duplicate, and it deliberately gets no lock — locking it would leave every pod but the leaseholder with an empty language table. Nothing else in this service holds state between requests.
