The Linux Desktop menu is getting two meters — how much of the member's numbers. transcripts do not carry them, and neither OTel metric is about the subscription window. So a status line records them and the agent reads the recording: The whole machine answers in one call because SecurityService's sweep fans out per member afterwards, and one request per account would put the agent's load on the size of the fleet for a question whose answer is one small file each. Three rules the status line has to keep, all of them because it renders into somebody's working terminal: * It never fails loudly. A traceback here would follow the member through their whole day, so every failure is swallowed and something still prints. * It does not take the slot from a status line they already had. The installer records any command it displaces in kamo-statusline-chain and this passes the same stdin through to it. would tell the console the member has a full, untouched allowance, which is the opposite of "nobody has asked yet". so the next one inherits it, and is re-runnable.
