The note shipped at #8c8c8c with no spacing, wedged between the bright green term line and the plan description. That is DARKER than the body copy beneath it, so on a card already carrying a was/now price and an orange savings pill it read as disabled small print and the eye went straight past. The text was in the HTML and passed every check; nobody could see it, which for a charge on the first invoice is the same as not stating it. It now takes the same muted tone as the description, with a hairline rule and a little space to stand it off the term line. Still the quietest thing on the card — the point was for it to be unobtrusive, not invisible.
